Le AUG est un fusil d’assaut Autrichien chambré en 5,56 mm OTAN, créé par Steyr-Daimler-Puch dans les années 60. Conçu sur une base Bullpup, l’avantage de ce design permet de réduire la longueur totale de l'arme sans sacrifier la longueur du canon, offrant ainsi une meilleure maniabilité dans des espaces restreints tout en conservant la précision et la portée du tir. Adopté par l’armée Autrichienne, l’arme se décline en de nombreuses variantes comme le A1, A2, A3, HBAR et le récent développé en partenariat avec Thales, le F90.
Fabriqué par Army Armament, le R901BK est une réplique AEG du AUG A2. Cette réplique se caractérise par un externe :
