This simple yet effective part was made to prevent dust and dirt from entering your gun when your QD slots were not in use. Some guns have their gearboxes exposed and can be the root cause of many malfunctions and failures after heavy use. Simply slide the QD hole cover into the QD slot and tighten it for a secure fit.
