The M40A5 is a bolt-action sniper rifle developed for the U.S. Marine Corps, chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO. Based on the legendary M40, itself based on the Remington 700, the M40A5 is designed to offer exceptional accuracy, reliability and ruggedness for the most demanding combat conditions.
Manufactured by Cyma, the CM700A features an external :
- Robust and realistic thanks to its Full Metal design with polymer stock and metal outer barrel.
- Adaptable to all morphologies thanks to its adjustable cheek rest.
- Modular thanks to its Picatinny rail on top and on the external barrel.
- Harris type bipod installation possible thanks to the presence of a lug.
And an internal one:
- Increased durability thanks to PDI's signature steel cylinder and 90° sear.
- Upgradable thanks to its AEG type inner barrel and hop-up rubber with VSR-10 type piston, spring guide and spring.
- VSR-10-type hop-up chamber copied from PDI for upward and drift adjustment.
