The CXP-ARK is a modernized AK Proline AEG from ICS Airsoft. ICS has taken the classic AK platform and given it an update by adding nylon-fiber furniture, a MLOK rail system, and many other usability upgrades to create the new standard for AK airsoft guns. The receiver is stamped and welded steel for unmatched durability and rigidity, and the hinged receiver cover is also steel with an aluminum rail to ensure no shift in zero for attached optics. The stock, pistol grip, and MLOK rail system are made from nylon fiber and have been completely redesigned from a classic AK to be far more ergonomic and comfortable for the user. The SF1 collapsible stock can fold to the side for storage, has an adjustable cheek rest, and holds the battery. The rail system has an integrated handstop, MLOK slots at the 12, 3, and 9 o� clock positions, and a Picatinny rail at 6 o� clock. The extended fire selector has a cutout to lock the bolt in the rearward position, allowing for easy adjustment of the one-piece metal hop-up unit. The gearbox is standard Version 3 with a quick change spring guide, and has the addition of a new spring tension release feature to decompress the spring after use. An integrated MOSFET protects the electronics and allows for the use of LiPo batteries. Included with the ARK is a new 540-round T-Mag with viewing window for AK platforms.
